TIME: What Will It Take to Transform INGO Models for Equity?
Hosted by TIME for SRHR
PEACH Pattaya 12
Open Event (no registration required) – Limited capacity (50-100 attendees)
For the past year, the Transforming INGO Models for Equity (TIME) initiative has been building a landscape analysis of SRHR INGO-NNGO relationships in Sub-Saharan Africa. Why? Because until we understand where we are today and how we got here, we can’t reasonably start to change how we operate. The results are in, and we want your input. Can International NGOs (INGOs) and locally based NGOs (NNGOs) work together to change how INGOs operate and use the power they both hold? What will it take? Come ready to listen and learn, then share your ideas in this interactive, networking side event.

Expanding the UHC Umbrella: How Integrating Gender, Youth, and Social Inclusion Approaches Increase Family Planning Access and Uptake
Hosted by EngenderHealth, Comprehensive Community-Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania, and Pathfinder International
Royal Cliff Grand Hotel Orchid Ballroom B
Open Event (no registration required)
Intersectional, equitable, and inclusive approaches to family planning (FP) are critical to improving access to care and services and ensuring no one is left behind. They also ensure FP and sexual and reproductive health programs are designed to respond to the unique needs of people living with disability, through the inclusion and equity lens. Join EngenderHealth, Comprehensive Community-Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania, and Pathfinder International to explore best practices for integrating a gender-transformative, youth-friendly, and socially inclusive approach into FP programs to strengthen health systems. During this interactive event, the organizations will share lessons learned through their partnership in Tanzania implementing the Scaling up Family Planning programme, as well as the successes and challenges they have faced. The partners will also share tools and resources for integrating a disability, gender, and youth lens into FP programming and key insights into the scalability and sustainability of applying a gender, youth, and social inclusion lens.
