Gift Plan How it Works Benefits
Will Name EngenderHealth as a beneficiary of your will or trust. You leave a percentage of your estate, a specific amount, or a specific property. You can also leave the remainder of your estate once distribution of specific bequests and other obligations have been made. Assets are transferred to EngenderHealth upon death; potential estate tax savings for your heirs.
Retirement Plan Name EngenderHealth as a beneficiary on your IRA or qualified retirement plan beneficiary designation form for a percentage of what remains in your retirement plan when the plan ends. Giving through your retirement account is one of the most tax-wise ways to give. Your retirement assets, an IRA or other retirement account, if left to your family (other than a spouse), will be subject to income tax in addition to any applicable estate tax. With a gift to Engenderhealth, 100 percent of the funds are available for its charitable purposes.
IRA Charitable Rollover – You must be 70 ½ years old or older at the time of the gift ­
– Gifts must go directly from your IRA to EngenderHealth ­
– Gifts must come from a traditional IRA or Roth IRA account
– Gifts cannot exceed $100,000 per donor
– Gifts can satisfy your required minimum distribution without increasing your income taxes
– You will not pay taxes on your IRA withdrawal when given to EngenderHealth
Life Insurance Name EngenderHealth as a beneficiary of a new or existing life insurance policy. You can also give your paid-up policy to EngenderHealth. Future support at little cost to you and tax savings for your heirs.
Charitable Gift Annuity Your money is reinvested by EngenderHealth with an agreement to provide annuity payments. Fixed payments for life and an immediate charitable tax deduction.
Charitable Remainder Trust Your assets are irrevocably placed in trust. Beneficiaries receive income for life or for the term of the trust. Remaining assets are given to EngenderHealth.
