Give Through Your Donor-Advised Fund
Support EngenderHealth through your donor-advised fund and help advance sexual and reproductive health and rights around the world.
A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is a flexible way to support the causes that matter most to you. If you have a donor-advised fund, you can recommend a grant to EngenderHealth through your fund sponsor, financial institution, or community foundation.
Your DAF gift helps EngenderHealth work with communities, healthcare providers, and health systems so more people can access high-quality, respectful sexual and reproductive healthcare.

A donor-advised fund can make charitable giving simpler, more flexible, and more tax-efficient. Depending on your fund sponsor and financial situation, a DAF may allow you to:
- Organize your charitable giving and record-keeping in one place
- Receive a charitable tax deduction when you contribute assets to your DAF, if you itemize deductions
- Potentially grow charitable assets tax-free before recommending grants
- Recommend one-time or recurring grants to EngenderHealth on your own schedule
- Include EngenderHealth in your longer-term giving or legacy plans by naming us as a beneficiary
Please consult your fund sponsor, tax advisor, or financial advisor to understand how a donor-advised fund may fit into your charitable giving plans.
You may use the following language when recommending your grant:
“I recommend a grant to EngenderHealth, Inc., EIN 13-1623838, to support its work advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights.”
If you would like your gift directed to a specific area of EngenderHealth’s work, please include that information in your recommendation and notify us by email.
DAF grants often arrive without complete donor information. Notifying us helps ensure that we can identify your gift, thank you properly, and apply the contribution according to your wishes.
After recommending your grant, please email development@engenderhealth.org with your name, contact information, gift amount if known, and any designation instructions.
In many cases, yes. You may be able to recommend that your grant support a specific area of EngenderHealth’s work, such as contraceptive care, maternal and newborn health, comprehensive abortion care, or gender-based violence prevention and response.
Please include any designation instructions in your grant recommendation and email development@engenderhealth.org so we can confirm and record your wishes.
Many donor-advised fund sponsors allow donors to recommend recurring grants. Please contact your fund sponsor to ask whether recurring grant recommendations are available.
Many donor-advised fund sponsors allow donors to name a nonprofit organization as a beneficiary. This can be a meaningful way to continue supporting sexual and reproductive health and rights in the future.
