Recent Technical Publications & Resources

We are thrilled to share recent publications and stories that highlight EngenderHealth’s and our partners’ expertise and show our intersectional approach to SRHR and gender equality.

Recent highlights include our Strategy for Health Systems Strengthening and a revised Postabortion Care (PAC) Curriculum, which includes a Trainer Guide, Participant Guide, Reference Manual, and related slide decks. Our TARUNYA Yearbook celebrates the achievements of our work and our partnerships from 15 years of adolescent health programming in India. Additionally, we introduced our first technical brief showcasing our work in Burkina Faso and published three inaugural case stories focused on ending child marriage and breaking biases within health systems, including among healthcare providers and medical students in Ethiopia. Finally, we published a technical brief discussing strategies for strengthening postabortion and postpartum family planning in Tanzania

We partnered with Women’s Earth Alliance on a blog post about Women on the Frontlines: Climate Change, Gender-Based Violence, and Reproductive Rights. While the effects of climate change are often discussed in broad terms, its profound impact on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and gender-based violence (GBV) is still not fully addressed. Addressing these challenges requires a deeper understanding of how climate change worsens existing vulnerabilities and endangers the overall well-being of affected communities.

We also recently expanded and updated our portfolio of Geographic and Topical Factsheets. These updated factsheets highlight our expertise and capabilities in adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health and rights, family planning and sexual and reproductive health, gender equality and social inclusion, and maternal and obstetric care. We also introduced new factsheets highlighting the depth and breadth of work in West and Central Africa and India
