TIME: Transforming INGO Models for Equity

Working Out Loud is a way of sharing accumulated knowledge across networks. It relies on transparency, openness, and a willingness to learn.

This collection aims to showcase and share the work that has gone into and resulted from TIME for SRHR. In 2023, 18 INGOs participated in three working groups that collectively sought to answer the question, “How will SRHR INGOs need to evolve, transform, and transition our operating models to be more equitable, sustainable, relevant, and legitimate?”

Through this learning collection, we are transparently sharing where we have failed (and learned) and succeeded at creating safe spaces, having hard conversations, and building frameworks and models to inform action. The collection is not intended as a report and is meant to be digestible, insightful, and practical. It is our contribution to the growing body of work on how the development sector can move from talk to action towards more equitable and locally-led development.

To get to transformational, it will take us all working together at a bigger level.
