Stakeholder Voices: Early Insights on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in the Context of Fertility Decline
Concerns about declining fertility, or falling birth rates, are reshaping global health priorities, putting pressure on investments in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). This brief shares early insights from stakeholder engagements at the 2025 International Conference on Family Planning in Bogotá and highlights how emerging narratives, misinformation, and policy shifts are influencing support for contraceptive care and related services. The findings point to a clear need for stronger, evidence-based communication to protect rights and sustain progress.
