Quality Improvement Approaches for Safe Surgery in Nigeria

Download this resource from the EngenderHealth-led, USAID-funded MOMENTUM Safe Surgery in Family Planning and Obstetrics project to explore proven strategies for reducing maternal mortality in Nigeria by scaling up safe obstetric care, fistula prevention, and prevention of female genital mutilation. The project worked to strengthen three quality improvement approaches: safe cesarean delivery, quality improvement tools, and WHO-recommended practices for surgical safety and death reporting.
