GIR’ITEKA (Be Respected) Health Activity in Burundi: End-of-Project Brief

How can gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and survivor services be effectively integrated into HIV programming? This end-of-project brief examines how EngenderHealth and local partners integrated GBV prevention and survivor services into HIV programs in Burundi. It shares implementation lessons on localization, multisectoral coordination, provider capacity strengthening, and survivor-centered care to inform governments, donors, and organizations working to strengthen integrated GBV and HIV services.
