Counseling, Informed Consent, and Debriefing for Cesarean Section in Nigeria

Review key findings and recommendations from the EngenderHealth-led, USAID-funded MOMENTUM Safe Surgery in Family Planning and Obstetrics project in Nigeria to discover the importance of counseling, informed consent, and debriefing (CCD) in both emergency and non-emergency surgical obstetric care. The research study is an observation of respectful maternity practices in four health facilities in two States in Nigeria in 2022-2023.
