Capacity Building in Operational Research On Obstetric Fistula: Experience in the Democratic Republic of Congo, 2017-2021

This key article, based on research from EngenderHealth's Fistula Care Plus project, shows how the Flexible Operational Research Training (FORT) model builds local research capacity in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Adapted during COVID-19, it supports sustainable, locally led health research. Originally published in the International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics and available open access, its publication was supported by MOMENTUM Safe Surgery in Family Planning and Obstetrics.
