Grace Miheso

Project Director, Kenya

Grace oversees EngenderHealth’s Kenya Hormonal IUD Scale-Up Project, bringing over 20 years of experience across social and behavior change (SBC), RMNCAH, family planning, malaria programming, health systems strengthening, and community mobilization in Kenya and the region. Most recently, she served as Chief of Party for USAID’s Breakthrough ACTION Kenya project at Johns Hopkins University, where she led a national SBC platform integrating evidence-based approaches into family planning, adolescent health, and malaria programs. Under her leadership, the platform expanded tenfold and worked closely with Kenya’s Ministry of Health and county governments to strengthen systems and embed SBC within national and subnational strategies.

She has also held senior roles with USAID, UNICEF, PATH, and CARE, supporting donor-funded programs across Kenya and the region.

Grace is a dentist and public health professional by training, holding a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Public Health from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and is a WomenLift Health Fellow.
