Ajay Khera

Ajay oversees EngenderHealth’s diverse portfolio of sexual and reproductive health and maternal and obstetric care programs in India. He brings more than 30 years of experience in adolescent and child health, obstetrics and gynecology, HIV and AIDS, and immunization, including communicable diseases, in India. Prior to joining EngenderHealth, he served as the Commissioner for Maternal and Child Health at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Ajay earned a doctorate of medicine in preventive and social medicine from Lady Hardinge Medical College and a MB,B.S degree in gynecology and obstetrics from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India.
