EngenderHealth Announces New Board Member

June 17, 2022 (WASHINGTON) — EngenderHealth is delighted to announce another exceptional leader has joined its Board of Directors. New member Sheena de Boisgelin has decades of leadership and experience in international business and advocating for girls’ education, child health, and environmental protection, among other causes.

EngenderHealth Board Chair, Dr. Linda Rosenstock said, “Sheena brings demonstrated dedication to the health and rights of girls in India to the board, along with her business acumen and passion for EngenderHealth’s mission.”

Sheena de Boisgelin is the president of Pelegreen UK Ltd. She previously held positions at Dassault Aviation, Vistajet, as a renewable energy and water purification advisor in India, and as an haute couture model. She has been involved in many projects related to the health and rights of women and girls in India, including a campaign against dowry deaths and initiatives focused on improving girls’ education, reducing child malnutrition, providing clean water and sanitation facilities, bettering the environment, and supporting child survivors of sexual abuse. Boisgelin holds a Master of Business Administration from Punjab University, India, and is based in London.
