EngenderHealth Announces Caleb Tiller as VP, Global Communications and Marketing

July 26, 2018 (Washington, DC) – EngenderHealth, a global women’s health and sexual and reproductive rights organization, today announced Caleb Tiller as the new Vice President of Global Communications and Marketing. Tiller comes to EngenderHealth with more than 20 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, public affairs, and education.

“Caleb is the ideal candidate to serve as EngenderHealth’s Vice President of Global Communications and Marketing,” said Rosemary Ellis, Interim President and CEO. “Throughout his career, he has helped organizations meet their strategic objectives by developing and implementing savvy marketing and communications plans. His work is widely respected in both the cause and communications communities.”

Ellis continued, “In the years ahead, EngenderHealth will continue to deliver quality maternal health, reproductive health, and family planning information and services around the world, while proactively advancing family planning as an indispensable human right. Caleb will lead the communications and marketing initiatives to support this mission.”

Immediately before joining EngenderHealth, Tiller directed the UN Foundation’s award-winning communications team for eight years. In this position, Tiller led and contributed to a variety of initiatives, including journalist trainings on sustainable development, the Social Good Summit, the SXSW Social Good Hub, and #GivingTuesday. During his tenure, the Foundation initiated and strengthened several innovative programs to improve lives around the world, including: Family Planning 2020, which advances the principle that all women should have access to lifesaving contraceptives; Girl Up, which empowers adolescent girls globally; the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves, which improves health, safety, and the environment by growing the clean cooking sector; and Shot@Life, which is helping the UN give more families access to lifesaving vaccines for their children.

“EngenderHealth’s mission is more crucial today than ever before. Investments in sexual and reproductive health and rights is a win-win for all communities and nations. I am inspired by the organization’s vision of empowering women and girls to decide their lives and their futures on their own terms,” said Tiller. “After 75 years of helping deliver improved health outcomes around the world, the organization is renewing its focus and refining its strategy, making it the perfect time for me to join. I look forward to working with our partners, staff in the new Washington DC headquarters, and programmatic teams in countries around the world to ensure our story reaches and engages key audiences.”
