Goal three of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development calls to “ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.” To achieve that goal, we must work to ensure everyone has access to high-quality, affordable, and effective healthcare services.

Like all people of good will, we watched in horror last week the news of murders of eight people, including six Asian American women, in the Atlanta area. There are no words that adequately express our sadness, dismay, anger, and yet lack of surprise that, yet again, immigrants and women of color have been murdered, and their families and loved ones are suffering, because of the racism and sexism endemic in American society.
