Audrey M. Johnson

Director, Philanthropy

Audrey is a certified fundraising professional with over 20 years of experience raising revenue for local, national, and international organizations. Prior to EngenderHealth, Audrey was the Senior Director of Development for the DC metro region’s NPR station, WAMU 88.5, and served on the team for the University of Toronto’s successful $2.5 billion capital campaign. She has extensive leadership experience, including roles as Executive Director for a national legal advocacy organization, government task forces and advisory committees, directorships with community organizations, and as a consultant for various corporate and social enterprises. She is an active volunteer and was awarded Mentor of the Year by Higher Achievement – DC Metro, a dynamic afterschool program that mentors young scholars. Audrey holds Bachelor’s degrees in psychology and sociology from the University of Calgary, a diploma in Public Relations from Mount Royal University, MBA from Royal Roads University with a specialization in organizational leadership, and a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School.
