Practicing Condom Demonstrations

It is critical that reproductive health care providers have skills in demonstrating correct condom use, especially since most condom failure is due to improper use rather than product flaws.

At a staff meeting, split up into pairs to practice doing condom demonstrations. Using the condom instructions provided in the course, have one person practice putting the condom on a penis model, while explaining the correct steps to the other person. Then switch roles so that both people get to practice and to listen to and watch the demonstration.
