Personal Information
Users are not required to provide EngenderHealth with any personal information. EngenderHealth does not obtain personally identifying information about visitors to our site unless you choose to provide such information. EngenderHealth receives personal information (such as name, e-mail, address, etc.) only from users who specifically and knowingly choose to provide such information in one of the following locations on this Web site:

• From users who choose to e-mail comments to info@engenderhealth.org, webmaster@engenderhealth.org, or other EngenderHealth addresses posted on the site.
• From users who choose to include contact information on surveys or feedback forms on our web site.
• From job applicants who send resumes to our Human Resources team.
• From donors who choose to make an online donation or apply for an online account.
• From users who order or request publications using our publications order form.
• From users who sign up to our Media List.
• From users who sign up to receive EngenderHealth Connect.

EngenderHealth does not disseminate this information or communicate with users beyond what is requested by each individual user. Users are not added to EngenderHealth's mailing list unless the user specifically requests to receive EngenderHealth mailings. Donors who do not wish to be added to EngenderHealth's mailing list may choose this option at the point where donations are made on the support page. Donors who do not choose to opt-out will routinely receive EngenderHealth mailings. To change your mailing status, please contact us by e-mail at development@engenderhealth.org. 

Other User Information
EngenderHealth collects technical information from web site visitors only for the following purposes:

• To gather broad demographic information,
• To perform analyses of user behavior and overall activity,
• To measure user interest in the various areas of the site.

For these purposes, EngenderHealth may record your IP address, the kind of web browser you use, and your operating system.  All of this information is transmitted by your computer to our web servers in the normal course of using the Internet. 

Cookies
From time to time, EngenderHealth’s web site may involve the use of browser “cookies” to help provide you with the best browsing experience.  For example, if we are running an online survey, and you complete the survey, we may store a cookie in your browser so that we don’t ask you about the survey again.  We will never use cookies to track your online activities that are not directly related to EngenderHealth.

Security
User contact information submitted online with donations, or for e-news subscriptions, is encrypted with industry-standard 128-bit SSL encryption, the kind used by banks to protect online transactions.  This contact information is then stored in databases that are protected by industry-standard firewalls in a secure data center, and can only be accessed by EngenderHealth personnel with proper security clearance.  At no point is this information posted online or shared with any other organization.

Sharing Contact Information
EngenderHealth will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information to third parties, except when we have your permission.  Because EngenderHealth is funded through private donations, we may exchange your personal information with affiliated third parties or trusted agents for fundraising purposes. EngenderHealth does not exchange e-mail contact information with any third parties.
